FORTUNE COOKIE BLIND BAG

The team introduced a sustainable blind bag concept using a molded pulp fortune cookie. Inside, each cookie contained a pet, a fortune slip, and an accessory, creating an element of surprise for collectors. These eco-friendly packages were designed to be merchandised in bulk, filling dump bins on mass market shelves, offering a fun and collectible experience that aligned with both the brand's charm and a growing commitment to sustainability.

The packaging featured visual instructions guiding children to turn a side panel, causing pets to tumble out from the bottom of the package, adding an element of surprise and delight. The team created an innovative pentagon-shaped package that housed a pet in each of its five sections. At the center, two dice were included, allowing children to play a custom fortune-telling game with the pets, adding layers of interactive fun. This engaging design encouraged repeated play, making the package itself a keepsake that children would return to again and again, long after the initial unboxing.
