Throughout my journey in the creative field, I’ve had the incredible opportunity to work with many talented individuals and inspiring clients. Each collaboration has not only enriched my skills but also deepened my passion for design. I’m grateful for the experiences and lessons learned along the way. Here’s what some of these amazing people have to say about our time together.

Danielle Motta
Global Brand Marketing Partner, Hasbro

I had the pleasure of working closely with Courtney Coutu during her time as Creative Manager in Global Design and Development, and I can confidently say she is a true standout. Courtney's ability to lead with creativity and vision is unmatched. She is not only highly skilled at spotting and staying ahead of trends, but she is also incredibly adaptable, able to pivot quickly when needed to meet the ever-evolving demands of the market. Having collaborated closely with Courtney on multiple projects, it's evident that her commitment to cultivating strong relationships with Marketing, Design and Development partners distinguishes her as a standout team member—one for whom others willingly go the extra mile.
What sets Courtney apart is her exceptional leadership. She managed a small, dynamic team with ease, always fostering a collaborative environment where creativity thrived. Under her guidance, team members felt empowered to contribute their best ideas, and the results always reflected that. Whether it was managing multiple projects with tight deadlines or prioritizing tasks under pressure, Courtney consistently delivered high-quality work on time, without compromising on the creative integrity of the projects.
Courtney’s ability to juggle short timelines, stay on trend, and inspire her team is a rare combination that makes her an invaluable asset to any creative organization. I highly recommend Courtney Coutu for any role that requires visionary leadership, creativity, and a strong ability to execute in a fast-paced, global environment.

JORDAN SCHORR
GRAPHIC DESIGNER, HASBRO
DIRECT REPORT

During my time on Hasbro Games, I was fortunate enough to report into Courtney from 2018-2020. As the Creative Manager overseeing the Preschool design/package team, Courtney always demonstrated an outstanding ability to handle multiple direct-reports, while simultaneously continuing her graphic execution on branding/packaging. She is someone who is meant to be the mentor of up-and-coming creatives, which is clearly noticeable with her devotion to her team members.

Courtney is always inspiring those around her with her passion and overall enjoyment for the work she does. She encourages a collaborative and inclusive workplace, and matched with her sunshine-filled personality, she’s an unstoppable creative mastermind! Her commitment to the growth and development of her team-members goes beyond most that fill a similar position. Her positive attitude and open-door policy make her an approachable and effective manager, and she consistently fosters a supportive and respectful work environment!

Throughout my two years with Courtney I can confidently say she is, hands-down, one of the most empowering women I’ve worked for. She has the ability to overcome any complications with poise and continuously allowed room for my personal AND professional development. When projects were assigned, she empowered me to take the reins and own the project from start to finish, but was always right there if/when I needed guidance.

Courtney is an outstanding Senior Creative Leader who I had the pleasure to have report directly to me on the Hasbro Games team. Courtney is a positive inspiring leader who creates and communicates the branding vision while embracing cross functional collaboration to achieving alignment with all stake holders. While successfully managing her team, Courtney created the creative vision for all branding and graphic communications across all marketing communications, packaging, board games, card games, and internal brand presentations on many of the most well-known game brands in the world including Operation, Candyland, Monopoly, Hungry Hungry Hippos, Clue, and Twister among others. Courtney would be an asset to have on any team.

Having worked with Courtney for 5 years, I was keenly aware of her talents. She was the first person I called when I was getting my business off the ground, and she has handled branding top to bottom.
Not only does it look amazing, but Courtney’s communication and client service was top-notch. She is quick to respond. She shares her guidance when making recommendations on concepts. And she is absolutely charming to speak with in person and over the phone.
Courtney is worth her weight in gold when it comes to talented designers. Highly recommend her!

Courtney is an absolute rockstar. In the 5 years that I have known and worked with her, she has always delivered exceptional work while never missing a deadline. She is one of the best graphic designers I know - the quality of her work and her ability to take a simple brief and transform it into powerful creative work is unparalleled. But what's perhaps more impressive than her creative vision are her exceptional cross-functional leadership skills. Courtney is an astute communicator and and can lead her teams with both clear vision and empathy. Courtney is truly one of the greats. Any team is lucky to have her!

Linda Bettencourt
Senior Executive,
Crimzon Rose

I had the pleasure of having Courtney as a direct report during my tenure at Crimzon Rose. Courtney is a very talented graphic and marketing professional.
In addition to being immensely creative, she understands the importance of a budget and time constraints. She is able to creatively solve problems by constantly "thinking out of the box"
Finally,Courtney handles an extremely large workload. Our clients were always surprised to learn that she was part of a 2 person team as her end results looked more like they were produced by a department containing at least a dozen people.
I highly recommend Courtney!
